Pearl Infinity Scarf Crochet Pattern

Pearl Infinity Scarf

The Pearl infinity scarf is a new crochet pattern with beautiful Fall colors and is a great stash buster. Read through to find out all the details!

Concept and Design

If you can’t already tell from my previous designs, I really love color blocking my projects in large sections. With this design, I wanted each section of this scarf separated by a consistent contrast color making each color pop. The easy repetition of this chevron pattern makes the Peal infinity scarf a quick, Netflix binge-worthy project. It’s a beginner/easy level scarf that can be made to any width and length with a 1 row repeat.

The Pearl infinity scarf is worked flat in short rows then sewn together once you reach your desired length. I added a twist to the scarf before sewing the ends together to make the drape around the neck super cozy. Whether you decide to color block your scarf, or use a solid or variegated yarn – you will have a beautiful scarf!

Yarn

I prefer to make my triangle and infinity scarves with thinner weight yarns (#1-4) – the drape is so nice and it really makes for a softer, less bulky scarf around your neck which I really like. I’ve used Hobby Lobby’s Yarn Bee Pigment + Fiber in a few projects now and I really like how soft it is. It’s available in some really pretty color combos. Each color comes in its own ball that you do not need to pre-wind which is a nice bonus!

The Pearl infinity scarf is a great stash buster, too! Ideally, I would think any weight (#1-4) yarn would work for this scarf. Just know that your hook size and yardage will vary from mine.

Materials Needed

  • Any sock/fingering (#1) weight yarn, approximately 75 yards of each color or 450 yards total. I used Hobby Lobby’s Yarn Bee Pigment + Fiber in London Dear (1 skein).
  • US size F/5 (3.75 mm) hook, or hook size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • Steam iron/garment steamer (optional)
