The Lilia wrap is a new Tunisian crochet pattern with gorgeous texture. Read through to find out all the details!

Concept and Design

Tunisian crochet is one of my favorite ways to crochet! The look of knit stitches but with a special crochet hook – sign me up 😊 The Lilia wrap is made with Tunisian diagonal eyelet stitch. It’s so pretty and elegant looking, great for wraps and scarves. Plus, the drape with this yarn is amazing!

The Lilia wrap is a little trickier than my usual Tunisian designs but the pattern includes several working pictures and the link to a video tutorial to help you. Once you master the set-up row, it is an easy 4 row repeat to your desired length. The wrap can easily be adjusted to any width (scarf or even throw sized). I had several skeins of this yarn so I just kept going making a very generous sized wrap at 84 inches long.

Yarn

I used Lion Brand’s Truboo yarn in Mauve. This was my first time using Truboo and it was nice to work with. The yarn is super soft and the drape is amazing but it splits easily. There are several other beautiful shades in this line – I would also make a Lilia wrap in either Cameo, Sky, or Khaki.

Ideally, any weight yarn sock (#1) – worsted (#4) should work for this project. Just know that your yardage and hook size will vary from mine.

Materials Needed

  • Ideally, any sock, sport, DK, or worsted weight (#1-4) yarn should work for this project. I used Lion Brand Truboo in Mauve (6 skeins, approximately 1385 yards).
  • US size I (5.5 mm) Tunisian Crochet hook, or recommended size for yarn used.
  • 24-inch cord with stopper
  • US size G/6 (4 mm) traditional crochet hook (optional for border)
