Concept and Design
I love making quick, versatile, and easily wearable designs. The Sasha infinity scarf works up very quickly made flat then twisted and sewn together. The twist allows for a better drape and a unique finish. I like my scarves to lay flat and not bunched up at my neck/face. The Sasha infinity scarf can easily be adjusted to any size working a 1 row repeat. This pattern is super versatile in that you can make it small or large as you like – perhaps a double wrap infinity scarf?
The Sasha infinity scarf is so plush and cozy! You will absolutely love making and wearing this scarf. It’s a great layering piece for the cold days/nights and can be worn in fall, winter, and spring. Plus, the color combinations are endless. Whether you decide to use variegated or solid yarn – it will definitely be your go-to scarf!
Yarn
I first used Hobby Lobby’s Yarn Bee Antoinette yarn for my Ramona Wrap earlier this year and I really loved it! It’s a bulky #5 weight yarn that is very colorful and is made of several tiny loops which make weaving in ends a little tricky but the end result is worth it. Even though it does have all those loops, the yarn itself is still very soft making this piece very wearable. I used the color way Forever Joyful but there are 6 total colors to choose from. Monarch Musing and Pop Up Shop would also look really pretty!
As always, you can substitute with any #5 bulky weight yarn in the color(s) of your choosing. This pattern also be made in any weight yarn, just know that hook and yardage will vary.
