The Ren asymmetrical triangle scarf is a new Tunisian crochet pattern with beautiful texture. Read through to find out all the details!
Concept and Design
If you love making triangle scarves then look no further! The Ren triangle scarf combines my love of scarves, texture, simplicity, Tunisian crochet, and amazing drape. That’s a lot to pack into a design but I promise you that this pattern really does deliver. The Ren triangle scarf is made with a 2 row repeat that you can work to your desired dimensions. The subtle texture created by the Tunisian Honeycomb stitch and the color fade work so well together for this scarf!
Yarn
I used Hobby Lobby’s Yarn Bee Rainbow Wrapsody in Peacock. I came across this yarn in and thought it was so unique and pretty. The yardage per cake is very generous and I was able to make a decent sized scarf with just 1. Of course, any color yarn or gradient cake would look great for this scarf.
Ideally, any weight yarn can be substituted for this project. Just know that your hook size and yardage will vary from mine.
Materials Needed
- Ideally, any sock, sport, DK, or worsted weight (#1-4) yarn should work for this project. I used a Yarn Bee Rainbow Wrapsody cake in Peacock (#1 sock), approximately 915 yards.
- US size 4.5 mm Tunisian Crochet hook, or recommended size for yarn used.
- 36-inch cord with stopper
- Tapestry needle
