Pattern Review: Fox C2C Baby Blanket

I absolutely love corner to corner (C2C) crochet! One of my first few C2C projects was this fox baby blanket by 2LittleCraigsCrochet. (click here to purchase the pattern from Etsy) I’m not going to lie – it’s a big graph with lots of color changes! But, it’s adorable and well worth the effort. I’ve made 4 of these blankets now, and it gets easier each time.

Work in progress!

I like to buy extra skeins of  yarn and use jumbo wooden clothes pins (pictured with white yarn) to help with small areas on the graph. Winding new balls of yarn is not my strong suit. I also decided not to include a name on any of my blankets just for preference. It would be super cute either way!

All finished!

I added a simple single crochet border (1 round in silver, 2 rounds in brown). It measures approximately 38 inches x 38 inches using a 5mm hook and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice Solids yarn. This blanket would look great in a woodland themed nursery, and is a great size for tummy time and in the carseat/stroller.

I definitely recommend this fox baby blanket pattern if you are looking for a fun C2C project!! You can also purchase this blanket as pictured above in my Etsy shop.

Happy Crocheting!
